Graveoath
Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 October 2026
Your hunt stays on your device. Graveoath does not operate a player account system or send your saved game to a developer-run service.
This policy describes the Graveoath iPhone app, this support website and support correspondence. The developer is Alexander Dackefjord.
1. Data in the game
Graveoath works offline. The app does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer. It contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, no tracking, no account registration and no in-app purchases.
The game stores your progress and preferences locally, including equipment, discoveries, story choices, checkpoint state and settings. This data lets the game resume your hunt. It is not uploaded by Graveoath, and the game does not provide cloud save synchronization.
Your device’s own backup or restore settings may affect copies of local app data. Those system services are provided by Apple, separately from Graveoath.
2. Managing local progress
Starting a new hunt replaces the existing saved hunt after confirmation. Deleting the app removes its local app data. Because the developer does not hold a copy of your saved game, the developer cannot restore deleted progress or delete it remotely. Device backups, if any, are managed through Apple’s tools.
3. Apple diagnostics and TestFlight
Apple handles App Store downloads and may provide app analytics or crash diagnostics through its own services, subject to Apple’s settings and policies. For the App Store version, you can manage sharing with developers in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. See Apple’s App Analytics & Privacy information.
If you use a beta through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects crash logs and usage information and shares it with the developer. This beta collection cannot be turned off while participating. Feedback you choose to submit may also include your email address, comments and screenshots. This is separate from data collection by the Graveoath app itself. The developer uses beta reports to investigate problems and improve the game. See Apple’s TestFlight & Privacy information for the service’s details and controls.
4. When you contact support
If you email support, the developer receives your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. These are used to answer your request, investigate the reported issue and communicate about its resolution. Please avoid sending passwords, payment information or unrelated personal details.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, or where retention is required by law. It is not sold or used for advertising. Email providers process messages as part of delivering and storing correspondence. You can ask about, correct or request deletion of your support correspondence by emailing Alexander.dackefjord@gmail.com.
5. This website
This static support site has no analytics scripts, advertising, embedded tracking tools, contact forms or externally loaded fonts. It does not set cookies through its own code.
The public site is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub logs visitors’ IP addresses for security purposes, independently of whether they are signed in to GitHub. Hosting is separate from the offline game. Read GitHub Pages’ data collection information and the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Following a link to Apple or another external service takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
6. Changes and questions
This page will be updated if these practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
