Start here for controls, progress and common questions.
Select Hunt → New Hunt on the title screen. Hold your iPhone in landscape and drag on the left side to move. Use the interaction button when you approach a person or discovery.
Your first weapon and Bloodroot are found in the opening chests. Combat buttons appear as you unlock their actions. The title screen’s Options → Controls explains the available inputs.
Yes. Connect a compatible controller to your iPhone before playing. In-game prompts adapt to the connected controller. Touch controls can also access the entire game.
Open Controls for the current bindings. The bag shortcut opens Equipment, and the controller’s menu button pauses the game.
Your hunt is saved on your device, including equipment, discoveries, choices and progress. The game autosaves during play and at important changes. Use Save and Exit from the pause menu when you finish.
Continue Hunt resumes your local save. Starting a new hunt replaces it after confirmation. There is one saved hunt; there is no account-based cloud sync. Deleting the app removes its local data, so reinstalling is not a troubleshooting step to take if you want to keep your progress.
You return to a checkpoint. Gear, XP, skill points, quest items and discoveries remain. Death removes 30% of the Silver and Grave Iron you are carrying, rounding each loss down.
The recovery screen shows the exact cost. Select Rise Again to continue.
Tap the bag icon for Equipment or the quest icon for Quests. Main quests use gold and side quests use frost blue. A question mark above a person means a quest is ready to hand in.
The menu icon in the upper-right corner opens Pause. Under Character, you can open Equipment, Skills, Abilities or Quest Log. Under Hunt, open Map or Codex. Controls lists the current controller shortcuts.
Menus pause combat. Ambient wind and fire intentionally remain audible, while music softens.
No. The game, music and local save work offline. There is no account or sign-in. Installation and updates use Apple’s services and require connectivity.
All in-game text is in English. Your progress is saved locally on your iPhone.
